Marvel Studios & Kevin Feige seem to have finally secured a director for the much-awaited and promising Avengers Five. Marvel production house is now planning its next big ensemble movie after critical hits like the third Deadpool & Fantastic Four movie proved much successful. Shawn Levy is the director of the upcoming Deadpool as well as the Wolverine film, which is predicted to be an enormous clash. Levy may be in line for a bigger part in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as per the reports. 

Marvel's topmost priority in directing the upcoming movie Avengers 5 is Shawn Levy. As per the story, Levy has already spoken with Marvel & seen the most recent script written by Michael Waldron. It is crucial to remember that these discussions are still in their early phases & that nothing has been decided upon yet.

Even though Levy is the front-runner, Deadline notes that Marvel is holding out for other directors & will keep talking with them in the interim. Due to his upcoming commitments towards a proposed Star Wars film and the last season of Stranger Things, Levy's availability for Avengers Five may be affected and there's a chance he could decline the offer. 

The fifth installation of the Avengers movie was first dubbed as “Avengers: Kang Dynasty”, and it was supposed to be about the legendary Marvel villain Kang, who made his debut in Loki & then gained more crucial development in Ant-Man & the “Wasp: Quantumania”. However, once Kang star Jonathan Majors was fired because of a conviction for reckless assault, the plans underwent a big alteration. Marvel now must re-evaluate its strategy and determine a new course of action for the Avengers franchise as a result of this upheaval.
