Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives

Karan Johar is known to be introducing star kids in the Bollywood, but this time he came with a different way through web series Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives. But the storyline does not seem to be such. Even he has picked the life of those actor’s wives who does not have gained much in the industry.

The centerlines of the series are the four women - Maheep Kapoor, Seema Khan, Bhavana Panday and Neelam Kothari Soni. These are the celebrities and the series has depicted their lives beyond the industry and media spotlight. Bhavana who is Chunky Panday's wife is the owner of a fashion brand. Maheep, wife of Sanjay Kapur choose her family and motherhood and gave up her acting career. Sohail Khan's wife, Seema Khan is a busy fashion stylist. All these wives life is portrayed inside the series. 

The different part shows their role as a mother and how they are keeping them in shapes and carrying out their business. Less interaction is seen with their husbands. Basically, more concern is put on what they need to wear over parties and other stuffs. The only interesting male character is being played by Samir Soni, who honestly discloses that he has no social skills and attending Bollywood parties in no way bearable to him.

Director Uttam Domale’s has attempted something bold, but the same turns to be funny. Even it seems that the series has put some of the wives to just gain attention and fame. The series also showed the other aspect of Industry ‘nepotism’ angle. The series also presented fashion brand of Bhavana Panday's and Gauri Khan Designs that was just felt unwanted and over. Gauri Khan also appeared in the final episode.
