Sex Education Movie Review:

Netflix's series Sex Education is a comedy-drama series released in 2020. The first season was out in 2019 and when both are compared, it can be said the second season does not carry much with it as it was in former. The reason can be that the earlier was having everything that became the point of interest among the teenagers and especially the topic sex education. The way it was brought was not seen in the second one.

This season talked much about sexual abuse, love story of gay-lesbian, female sexuality and religion. It can be said that more attention has been given in exploring the darker side like bullying, assault, trauma etc. It gives a real impression of education. At one point Otis facing the challenges of love, intimacy, and sex in own life is somewhat undesired and useless.

The series witnessed many unnecessary twists inside the story. While at some point it has depicted about female sexuality, it encourages fighting against husband who abuses and ignores a woman and her desires. The female cast of series can be seen in bold characters.

The good thing that the audience can see in the series Ncuti Gatwa, Emma Mackey and Asa Butterfield all together for the another time and this time also they have done well. Coming on the writing part of the series, the writers Season have put their best efforts to keep the viewers engaged, but the bad thing is that they have failed to do as compared to the previous season. Introduction of new characters, unwanted twist that is also predictable has failed to keep the audiences engaging.

In nutshell, it can be stated that the series has depicted how the teenagers suffer at this stage but it has overdone some of the aspects and is poor at the plot.
