Aashram

The second season of the Aashram was back soon, but the second season was not so much different from the first one except those of taking revenge and the investigation by the cops who are finding the truth behind the Baba Nirala. 

The second season consists of nine episodes and director Prakash Jha has narrated one aspect in a very beautiful manner and that is the blind faith of Indian people on holy man or dharma gurus. He has also portrayed the real socio-cultural scenarios that are practised against women in some Aashram and hostels.

Taking about the plot of the story Baba Nirala is still in the same position as it was seen in the previous series. The role of Nirala is played by Bobby Deol and it seems that there could be a better option to Jha than him for this role to be played more realistically. However, the actor also needs to think about the choices he makes in the selection of the series. He is seen in preying upon young women, getting involved in politics, carrying illegal work from his Aashram etc.  

The other characters like Ujagar which is played by Darshan Singh and Sadhu, which is played by Vikram Kochhar are finding up the truth behind the Baba. The centric role in the series is Pammi (Aaditi Pohankar) who is a sports aspirant and wants to be wrestling champion. But she has also gets trapped by Baba and she prepares herself for taking revenge. 

Tridha Choudhary and Anupriya Goenka also have perfectly played their roles. The end of series leaves a hope that the audience will still have to wait to know what happens to the kingdom of the BABA Nirala.
