Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s movie Geetha Govindam is a sweet romance with a pinch of comedy in it. The coincidences between Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika can make anyone remember Shahrukh Khan Movies. The character Geetha in the movie is a professional who has a deep believes in God and she loves her family very much. She has some dreams about her future. On the other side, Govind is a simple man who thinks to marry and settle with family. The character is played by Vijay where he has been portrayed as an ideal son, brother, boyfriend and husband.

Writer-director Parasuram’s has inserted some refreshing approach in this simple romantic and comedy movie which can be clearly seen in the chemistry of two lead characters. The man is having traditional thoughts still he respects and never mistreats women.

The makers have completely balanced both the male and the female leads. Both the actors in the movie have given solid performance and have given a new height to the movie. Enough instances are there which make an audience laugh. However, some gaps can be noticed in the writing. Watching Vijay in such a sweet role after a ‘rowdy’ lover-doctor in Arjun Reddy is just amazing. The second reason for the freshness in the movie is the plot along with the on-screen chemistry of Deverakonda and Rashmika seen in the movie.

Gopi Sundar’s songs composition is beautiful. The music is just parallel to the emotions of the two leads played in the movie. Audience can feel the same. Movie is a combination of so many feelings such as love, lust, anger and comedy. All the emotions have been given proper instances. This is worth watch for the new age couple.
