Mirzapur

Amazon prime's Mirzapur is one of the crime thriller web series that revolves around the black market and mafia existing in UP state. Most of the crime-prone areas such as Azamgarh, Gorakhpur, bananas and Gazipur, were taken up to depict how the areas are suffering from loaded gun and bloodshed. The series has put a story of violence that connects politics, law enforcement and its influence on middle class.

The plot is about Kaleen Bhaiya played by Tripathi who runs an illegal arms business and opium trade making him a powerful one. Pankaj has been the heart of the series, playing his role as a King. He is turning as one of the most talented actors Bollywood industry is having. The twist and turn is created by his son, Munna, played by Divyendu Sharma, he makes life difficult for Tripathi. He has performed perfectly as a greedy-cum-frustrated role as a son. It's also about two brothers Babloo Pandit played by Ali Fazal and Guduu Pandit which is played by Vikrant Massey who due to unavoidable circumstances, begin to work under a businessman don in Mirzapur. 

Vikrant has acted very well and he fits in the role, his expression says he is a really talented actor. Rasika Duggal is playing Tripathi’s insatiable wife Beena. The series has also focused on the female roles with adequate weight and the way it the shows status of women in the society is remarkable.

As the Sacred Games and Gangs of Wassepur have raised the standards much higher, in comparison to them, Mirzapur has not reached to that level. However, it has taken every emotion, every scene and dialogue to a great level. The whole series will bind you till the end once you get started watching it.
