Sarkaru Vaari Paata Movie Review:
The Mahesh Babu Starrer superhit Indian Tamil action drama movie has collected more than 130 crores at the box office bringing approximately thrice the profit of its production value. The movie has been released in May 2022, about two years later of its announcement. The blockbuster was planned to be released earlier in 2021 but the pandemic made it on hold. The movie has very interesting action scenes and it turned out to be one of the most memorable action dramas in Tamil cinema. The principal photography of this film took place in Dubai while rest of the shooting occurred in Hyderabad too. After July 2021, when the shooting resumed, shooting continued in beautiful locations of Spain and Goa.
The story of Sarkaaru Vaari Patta revolves around the main character Mahesh (starred by Mahesh Babu) who undergoes a struggling childhood due to his parents committing suicide by hanging for the sake of the bank loan of Rs. 15000/-. They were not able to pay back the loan on time and requested the officials to postpone the due date but their request was denied. Mahesh was then sent to an orphanage where he grew up to be a finance agent. He opens his finance agency in Miami. Later, he met a girl named Kalaavathi (Keerti Suresh) who tricked him into that she needs money for her studies while she was a gambling addict. So, she asked him to give her a loan of 35K US dollars. She didn’t return the loan amount on time and when Mahesh confronted him to repay the loan, she threatened him for the influence of her father Rajendranath.
Rajendranath was a powerful MP and he owed 1.3 billion dollars to the state bank by swindling. It was learnt by Mahesh and rest of the story is about Mahesh striving to make Rajendranath repay the bank’s money. The climax is interesting when Rajendranath realises his fault and repaid the amount to the state bank.
Written and directed by Parsuram the story is really gripping and throws light upon financial crimes and the burden of the banking system.
