Tribhanga - Tedhi Medhi Crazy Movie Review:
Women-centric movies have a long list in the Bollywood Industry and only those have won the heart of the audience, that had a good storyline. Tribhanga is yet another movie made under the direction of Renuka Shahane. The story is narrated by a woman itself. This is very rare and the most important thing attached to it is that even a rare story is right.
The movie Tribhanga - Tedhi Medhi Crazy is an attempt by actress turned director and writer Renuka Shahane to present the story of three generation women. But it seems that the story is lightly pitched and the story lacks its intensity at some point. This is the reason it was not up to the mark for the audiences. Having such great actors in it could not save it.
Tribhanga narrates a story of a family; where there are three women, who are struggling in their lives and about their aspirations. Tanvi Azmi is playing the role of Nayantara, who is mother of Anuradha (role played by Kajol) and a writer. Anuradha is a Bollywood actor and dancer and also a single mother. Mithali Palkar is playing the role of Anuradha’s daughter called as Masha. She is different as compared to the others in her family as she desires to live a normal life and can compromise anything for that.
Taking off the performance part and their volume in the movies; Kajol being a major attention, but still Shahane has managed to place every woman in equal part. Every actor has done their part well. This movie as any other women centric movie has highlighted many issues like domestic violence, sexual assault and professional aspirations. The intensity of such issues has made the storyline weak. The movie has a scene, where Anuradha beautifully depicts the name of the movie by using a classical dance poses.
