Incredibles 2 Movie Review:
The Incredibles 2 is the best movie ever produced by Pixar. Brad Bird repeats the formula in this sequel to the movie that devastated 14 years ago and, although it does not offer anything fresh, its visual invoice is overwhelming. The incredible 2 is a superhero animated film that will please both the oldest and the youngest.
The dialogues of the characters and situations that will live, make it a content suitable for all audiences. Special mention to the motivations of Screenslaver, the main villain. It arrived at cinemas on August 3, 2018, 14 years after the premiere of the first installment.
The film again had Brad Bird (Ratatouille) as director and screenwriter, while Holly Hunter will repeat her role as Helen Parr / Elastigirl. The film begins right where the first part ends, so there will be no temporary jump (despite the 14 years of difference between one and another). Brad Bird has waited 14 years for a script solid enough to shoot The Incredibles 2.
It starts right after the end of the battle of the first installment, with 'The Underground' coming out of the ground ready to face the family of superheroes, according to John Lasseter, creative director of Pixar. While the critics responded in a lukewarm manner to the company's latest efforts we have regained confidence in the company that has popularized the flexes.
The critics have marked it as equal or superior to the original. On the side of nostalgia, The Incredibles 2 takes some of the situations and characters that already entertained us, fascinated us or made us laugh out loud in the first. There is the visit to Edna Moda, the family and daily dynamics of the superheroes, the rescue and very exciting action sequences in which all come together and act together. Of course, in terms of innovation in the script or creativity in the story, there is not much to say.
In a few words: in the first tape you had to rescue Mr. Incredible, in the second you have to rescue Elastigirl. Despite not innovate in terms of script and history, The Incredibles 2 is a worthy successor to the first, which meets on the side of nostalgia, fun, and quality in the animation that Disney-Pixar continues to overcome.
