Anil Kapoor Talks On His 35 Years Showbiz Journey

Anil Kapoor has been in the Bollywood industry from last 40 years as an actor and producer. Born in 1956 he is now 62 years of age. He is a superb Indian actor and has played spectacular innings ever since he has entered Bollywood. As a lead hero he has given blockbuster films in the 90s like m Meri Jung, Tezaab, Mr India, Lamhe, Welcome, Beta, Pukar and Race series. He has also produced the remarkable films like Gandhi My father, Khoobsurat and Ayesha.

He has not only done Indian films but has done International films also. He has appeared in television series also.

He has won many awards in his career including the national Film Award, He has won Six Filmfare awards in different acting categories. Popularity wise his movies Tezaab and Ram Lakhan are the Epitome of his career, he is also known as Lakhan of Bollywood for the role he has played in Ram Lakhan. His intense performance in Meri Jung and Lamhe has won the hearts of the Indian audience.

But it was not easy and it was not a roller coaster ride for Anil Kapoor. He faced challenges being from the non industry background and he has really worked very hard. When asked what he has to say about the tough times Anil Kapoor said bad days never last long because we always find a way to resolve it. Consistency has to be there, and hard work should not stop. Consistent working has made him successful in the Bollywood industry.

Anil Kapoor said "For me success has to have a 360 degree angle where not only professional but personal success also has to be taken care of. I tried to be a good husband, a good father and good member of the family. During his high and low he has worked hard and his family supported him a lot. He has done many films for his brother director producer Boney Kapoor like Mr. India was the master blaster movie of Anil Kapoor and Sridevi.

Not only he was successful in the first innings of his Bollywood career but the second innings of his career as well, he is also doing wonderful movies like Welcome, Welcome Back, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga –with his daughter Sonam Kapoor, Total Dhamaal etc. He has two children Harshvardhan Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor. Sonam Kapoor is already a very successful actress.

Anil Kapoor has been a good father and mentor to his children.
