Namrata Shirodkar, the beautiful wife of Mahesh Babu clarified: For now Bollywood is not on the card
Rumor has sparked that Mahesh Babu is planning a Bollywood debut; clarified by his wife
Mahesh Babu is one of the biggest South superstar. After the success of his last film, 'Bharat Ane Nenu', directed by Koratala Siva, he went on a two-month-long vacation to Europe with his family. Rumors trolled that he is now reportedly planning to make a debut in Bollywood. Recently, a leading paper headlined that Mahesh Babu made a stopover in Mumbai after his Paris family vacation to meet a Bollywood producer.
The news fired that the superstar is making his Bollywood debut. However, putting a full stop to all speculations Mahesh Babu's beautiful wife and Bollywood actress Namrata Shirodkar who also manages him, clarified that presently Bollywood is not his cup of tea.
Clearing the speculations, Namrata told the daily, ”These reports are completely false”. Namrata said, “Mahesh did stop by in Mumbai while the rest of the family proceeded to Hyderabad. But he wasn’t in Mumbai to meet any Bollywood producer. He was there for a look test with hairstylist Hakim Aalim for his next Telugu film to be directed by Vamshi Paidipally.”
Swimming in fame, language hardly matters when it comes to the film fraternity as long as you’re a good package. Despite the rumour, Namrata Shirodkar revealed to a daily that there is no such plan. With Namrata’s statement, excitement has surely gone down the drain now.
Although a couple of years ago, the Bharat Ane Nenu actor hit the bulletins for having no inclination towards Bollywood. But regardless of the rumoured news, for the love of his fans only time will tell will the actor change his mind.
A few months ago, Mahesh Babu in an interview, revealed that he is open to the idea of doing a Hindi film when he finds the perfect script. But it looks like it won't happen anytime soon. This is important to note that there are several Telugu actors who have done films in Bollywood. Telugu actor Rana Daggubatti has already made his mark in Bollywood. Not only him but RamCharan Tej and Baahubali Prabhas are on the list. However, there is no truth to the stories that Mahesh Babu is debuting Bollywood.
