Rashmika Mandanna, the star of "Pushpa 2: The Rule," recently confirmed that she suffered a leg injury but hopes to return to work soon. The 28-year-old actress, known for her roles in movies like "Animal," "Bheeshma," and "Geetha Govindam," shared an Instagram post this Saturday, just days after reports of her injury began circulating on various social media platforms.

"I injured myself in my sacred gym shrine," she wrote in the caption, accompanied by a picture showing her right leg in a plaster.

Further, the Pushpa-2 star, Mandanna apologized to the directors of all her upcoming films "Thama", "Sikandar", & "Kubera" for the shooting delays due to her injury.

"Right now, I am in ‘hop mode’ for the next few weeks or months, or God only knows. It looks like I will be hopping back to the sets of Thama, Sikandar, & Kubera. To my directors, sorry for the further delay, and I will be back soon, just making sure my legs are fit for action or at least for the hopping. In the meantime, in case you need me, I will be the one in the corner doing an advanced bunny hop workout. HOP..HOP..HOP..," she further wrote.

The gorgeous actress recently appeared in Sukumar's "Pushpa 2" alongside Allu Arjun. This sequel to 2021's "Pushpa: The Rise" has become India's highest-grossing movie, earning a gross box office collection of Rs. 1,831 crore, as reported by Mythri Movie Makers. On Saturday, the makers released a 20-minute extended version of the movie "Pushpa 2".
