Monster Hunter

Monster Hunter is adapted from the game of the same name. It is a movie that revolves around Lieutenant Natalie Artemis (Milla Jovovich) who lives in the real world but while on a mission sudden storm takes them to an entirely new world where they find the remains of the missing soldiers and their vehicles. The new world appears to be full of monsters who are havoc to mankind and kill them. Lt. Artemis finds a hunter (Tony Jaa) who is a trained warrior to kill the monsters.

The imaginative new world appears to be full of herbivores, dragons and subterranean creatures. The director has successfully focused on bringing the imaginative world into a real one. The entertainment the movie gives is worth watching on a big screen.

Milla Jovovich's presence on screen is terrific. Her performance on the screen as a mean captain who struggles to survive in the situation is worth watching. The chemistry between Milla Jovovich and Tony Jaa is fantastic and takes for a while. Their interactions are more engaging. Anderson has given a wonderful and real meaning to the character of the hunter. The action gets doubled with Jaa's entry with a heavy orchestra. As kind-hearted Admiral (Ron Perlman) enters the screen the opportunity to fix the loose ends gets lost. At the end, only one is left after seeing so many deaths and destruction.

Monster Hunter is a movie of 130 minutes that is of about 1 hour and 39 mins full of Action, fantasy and adventure throughout the movie. The languages in which it can be seen are English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. It is a film full of action extravaganza but also lacks somewhere to become an all-out action movie.
