The movie Soorarai Pottru is based on the book 'Simply Fly' which narrates the story of Nedumaaran Rajangam the role of which is played by Suriya and he is known to friends as Maara. He is the son of a teacher and he takes every efforts to inspire the common people to fly. He initiates to set up the capital intensive industry with the support of his friends, family and absolute will power in the world.

Soorarai Pottru is one of the amazing movies and 10/10 to the director Ms. Sudha who has brought such an amazing concept in so real way. The direction, action and dialogues are up to the mark. The casting and the background music are superb. Surya, Aparna and other supporting actors have done well. Soorarai Pottru is perfectly made that includes some commercial elements s and background score.

The level of acting and the screen are the main aspects that have contributed in the success of such an inspiring story. The way such an inspiring movie has been made in such a limited budget is just great. The credit for the same goes to director Sudha Kongara for direction, execution and the hard work of a team. 

Soorarai Pottru has been a motivational story that encourages everyone to struggle for the dreams and get success. Talking about the performance of Suriya, it is outstanding and has not disappointed the audience. Characters with even small roles are performed in such a way that will be remembered. The mode in which the story has been narrated is good; every situation has been explained with a reason in its support.
