John Abraham was born in Kerala in Kochi to his parents Abraham John and Firoza Irani. John belongs to a mixed culture middle-class family. He was named Farhan by his maternal family and it is a Parsi name. Since his father was a Christian, he named the child John. Abraham John is a Christian from Kerala and an architect by profession. On the other hand, Firoza Irani is a homemaker and belongs to the Parsi community. The younger brother of John Abraham is Alan.
John Abraham did his schooling from the prestigious Bombay Scottish School that is situated in Mumbai in the Mahim area. It is an upmarket school in Mumbai. For graduation, he joined the Jai Hind College that too is located in Mumbai. He did graduation in economics subject and received a bachelor’s degree. The college comes under the University of Mumbai. After this, John Abraham pursued an education in business management. For this, he joined an MBA course and received a business management degree from Mumbai Educational Trust.
After finishing his education, John Abraham entered the world of modeling. He was seen in a music video made by singer Jazzy B. He worked in some media firms and got the job of a media planner.
