Save The Date, Gulabo Sitabo all set for Feb 28, 2020

The Millennium starrer Amitabh Bachchan upcoming movie Gulabo Sitabo is all set to release in the year 2020. It’s an Indian family comedy-drama film. The leading actors are Amitabh Bachchan , Ayushmann Khurrana and Saboor Aly. It is assumed to be another great script movie from the makers of Piku.

Puppets back into spotlight

The name of the movie has been based on puppet characters, Gulabo and Sitabo. They are the famous puppets who had been lost somewhere with the occurrence of online games, are now getting recognition. This movie has put the puppets back into spotlight. It is believed that the puppets were created by a Kayastha family in Pratapgarh, a district to which Amitabh Bachchan's ancestors belong in Uttar Pradesh.

Gulabo Sitabo Releasing Date

Gulabo Sitabo was initially supposed to release in November, 2019. But the same was shifted to April 24, 2020. But, now it seems that the makers have shifted the date and release the film in February 2020.

Story Line

Gulabo Sitabo, known to be legendary pair of sisters has been part of Uttar Pradesh folklore. At first instance it seems that the film shall be based on these two characters depicting relationship between Amitabh & Ayushman. The story is full of local humors and songs, narrating day-to-day struggle of an ordinary man & his life. Amitabh Bachchan is playing a role of a landlord, while Ayushmann Khurrana will play the role of his tenant.

How excited are the Movie Actors

After doing some of the great movies like Paa and 102 not Out, this is another challenge for Big B. He stated that "When he was shown the sketch of look, he was excited to work on the film. He was required to sit for hours with makeup team to be ready for the shoot. An international crew from aboard has worked on the appearance in this movie.

Ayushmann on working with Bachchan expressed that it was a mix kind of feeling. Facing a legendary actor for the first time shall be something like proud and nervous too.
