To release 'No Time to Die' on OTT platform needs USD 600 million to Release
New James Bond movie “No time to die” finds Rami Malek as its new villain.
Actor Daniel Craig’s upcoming movie “No Time to die” which will be featuring James Bond’s spectacular role with fascinating visuals, is hoping to release on digital platform. Due to the covid-19 crisis, movie is waiting for the release on big screen but now as per the latest reports, the makers have decided to release this movie on digital platforms rather than on the big screens, if only anyone is ready to pay a huge amount for that.
The makers of James Bond’s next instalment have set the bar very high for the biddings to grab some of the exclusive rights of the movie to release on OTT platform. As per the information, studios have decided to put around $600 million of tag to the OTT platforms to release the movie.
Even after that huge amount of tag, some of the online services are showing interest on finalizing that record-breaking deal.
Daniel’s movie ‘No Time to Die’ was initially set to release on April 2020, but, after the pandemic of Covid-19 & on further request of fans, makers have pushed back that release date till November 2020.
But now, when COVID-19 pandemic situation is still remained unchanged around the world with movie theatres still closed, the movie is been postponed till next year April 2021.
Back in past, Daniel started with the stylish James Bond movie ‘Casino Royale’ in 2006, followed up by three further movies ‘Quantum of Solace’ ‘Skyfall’ and ‘Spectre’ in 2008, 2012, and 2015 respectively.
Movie is directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga with Lea Seydoux coming back in the role of Dr Madeleine Swann.
