Shivani Bhagwan is the co-founder of the leading dance page BFunk. (Chaya Kumar is the co-founder). She is known for her expertise in Bollywood as well as Bhangra style, as well as their incorporation of Jazz-Funk & Hip-Hop elements. 

Shivani Bhagwan, who is the co-founder of BFunk, is a multi-talented dancer, actress and choreographer. With around 340,000 followers on her social media Instagram, she has successfully built a significant fan-following online. Shivani has been involved in the performing arts since a young age, acting in local short films and plays beginning at 13 years old. She later went on to study Human-Biology at Michigan State University, where Shivani Bhagwan was the only freshman to creatively build an Indian dance team, namely the Michigan State Raas Team.

She also served as the team's captain as well as led it to immense success. Just after completing her studies, Shivani Bhagwan moved to Los Angeles in order to pursue her career in dancing and acting. Shivani Bhagwan’s 1st national TV commercial was TJ Maxx's "Real Inspiration from Real Women," which was released on March 27, 2016. Along with this, Shivani Bhagwan also played the character of Yasmin in the Urdu drama "Aarzu-E-Mann," in 2017 which aired in Pakistan.

BFunk's journey began with the release of the first dance video on Shivani Bhagwan's YouTube channel, which featured a remix of Major Lazer's "Lean On" by Desi Frenzy, featuring famous Punjabi actor Diljit Dosanjh. The video, which was released on September 13, 2016, quickly went viral and attracted global attention. Today, Shivani's YouTube channel has amassed over a billion views, solidifying its place as one of the most popular dance channels on the platform.

Her dance studio BFunk has also collaborated with some well-known celebrities & prestigious figures like Tesher, Honey Singh, Shahrukh Khan, DJ Upside-Down, Mudassar Khan, Bapi Lahiri, TJ Lewis, and others. Apart from that Shivani Bhagwan also received co-signs from the actors Diljit Dosanjh, Raja Kumari, Geeta Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor and Tricia Miranda.

The BFunk Team, Shivani Bhagwan & Chaya Kumar, the sole founders, have served as judges on multiple shows, including London's Battle of Bollywood & Dance-USA-Dance. Through these engagements, Shivani has had the opportunity to interact and meet with notable figures in the entertainment industry.
