Tom Cruise says there is still a lot in the character; “Mission: Impossible” series to continue
Upcoming Mission Impossible movie series still has a lot to keep the audience glued
Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise in a talk revealed he has been craving to do at least two or three more ventures in “Mission Impossible” series. Tom Cruise said so after his return as daredevil Ethan Hunt. The 55-year- American actor and producer returns as the roguish spy in the sixth movie of the series with the upcoming "Mission: Impossible - Fallout". It has been Cruise's longest running franchise and the actor has been a part of the “Mission Impossible” franchise since 1996 and now he strongly believes there is still a lot in the character, it is really gonna go far.
Cruise told to a magazine ''I have a lot of ideas about the next phase, about the next two or three, of where I want to go. I'm not ready to discuss it now, but you'll be able to see when you see this movie. It's very much the epic in all of this series”. He also added that McQ (director Christopher McQuarrie) and he had a talk about it and he was like, “We've earned it with this franchise to blow it out of this way."
Filming the latest Mission: Impossible installment "Mission: Impossible - Fallout" was not at all easy for Tom Cruise, he had to do more than 100 jumps to nail an action scene. Tom admitted that even though he has been involved in the franchise for so long, he doesn't find it as easy as he always expects to make the movies. He added, "You think you know how to make them until you start making the next one. It's very humbling.” ‘I'm always like, 'I know how to make these movies.' Then you're like, 'Oh my God, I don't know what I'm doing.'
That's ‘Mission...' you know. And you just keep at it, "In Mission: Impossible - Fallout", Cruise said there are daredevil stunts involving him carrying out a jump that is done by highly trained military personnel to enter some hostile areas, involves jumping out of a plane at 25,000 feet and opening a parachute at just 2,000 feet before the ground.
Though the actor refused to be drawn on what he's planning.
