Vijay Raaz Says Missing a Greeting Cost Him His Role in Son of Sardaar 2
Sanjay Mishra, replaces Vijay Raaz for the second installment of the blockbuster movie Son of Sardaar.
During the continuing dispute over the famous actor Vijay Raaz's termination from the movie, Vijay stated that his dismissal was just because of his inability to welcome Ajay Devgn on their first day of work. On the other hand, Raaz's dismissal was attributed by the producer of the movie, Kumar Mangat to his reported unpleasant behaviour with the staff.
Sanjay Mishra now speaks out about replacing Vijay Raaz, saying, "I have a good emotional bonding to Ajay sir, as he was the only one to comfort me, during the sudden demise of my brother. Whenever things became tough, we were always there for one another. When he eventually contacts me about a movie project, it is not simply any project, rather, it is evidence of our strong bonding. I only need to give him a call to be there, and he always supports me in the same manner. That is all I can say now!”
Kumar Mangat, the producer stated, "Yes, it is true that actor Vijay Raaz has been removed from this movie because of his behaviour on the sets”. Apart from being demanding on the set for larger rooms as well as a vanity van, he overpaid us also for the spot boys. His spot boy made more money for one night as compared to any other major star, and taking almost Rs 20,000 home. He also insisted on having a premium suite. Later on, he became irate as well as refused to listen when we tried a lot to explain the costing scenario to him.”
For this thing, Vijay Raaz had another story to share: "Basically, I arrived at the venue well ahead of schedule for the trial. When I got to my van, Ravi Kishan Sir arrived to greet me. Vijay Arora, the director of the movie, as well as Ashish, the Executive Producer, and the producer himself, Kumar Mangat came to meet me and when I got out of the van, I saw my co-star Ajay Devgn around 25 meters away. He was somewhat busy, so I did not go say hello & instead kept talking to my friends nearby.
After 25 minutes, the producer approached me and informed me that I was being fired from the movie. The only mistake on my part was failing to welcome Mr. Ajay Devgn. These are influential personalities, and there is absolutely no talk of wrongdoing."
