Zac Efron Absent From The HSM Song That Featured His Ex, Vanessa Hudgens
HSM Song Without Zac, Reason Ex-Girlfriend Vanessa In The Same Song
Fans and admirers of the musical movie released in 2006, the High School Musical or HSM are surprised that their favourite star Zac Efron was absent from the recent song performance in The Disney Family Singalong. There have been talks going around that the reason was that Zac did not want to sing and perform with his ex Vanessa Hudgens, who was in the group that gave this song performance.
The star cast of HSM like Vanessa, Ashley, Corbin, and a few others sung the song together. They got together online and sung 'We're All in This Together' from High School Musical. Zac Efron gave the introduction of the stars that were in this song but he did not sing the song. He recorded and taped a short introduction of this song lasting 17 seconds. The song by the HSM star cast We're All In This Together has become famous as a number inspired by the coronavirus crisis that has gripped the world.
Fans know that Zac was in a relationship with Vanessa previously from 2005-2010. The pair was even nicknamed as Zanessa by fans and the public who loved them. However, their relationship could not last long and they broke up. Zac Efron was hurt by the sad memories of the time he dated Vanessa. Working with Vanessa and practising with her for the song could have been very difficult for Zac. He did not want to share the platform with her. Zac feels remembering old memories is of no use now and he has moved on life. He has changed completely post-breakup with Vanessa. This is why he didn't sing the song and only gave a short intro.
Zac agreed to present the introduction as a favour and friendly gesture to the director of High School Musical, Kenny Ortega. Vanessa had admitted in 2017 that she is not in touch with Zac anymore.
Zac and Vanessa have ended their relationship and have had other relationships since then.
