Early Life

Vicky Kaushal was born in 1988 on 16th May in Mumbai to an action director Sham Kaushal. He also has a sibling brother sunny, who is also an actor.  He belongs to a Punjabi family and as a kid, he was like other children only who loved playing cricket and roaming around. He was a brilliant student and was pursuing his engineering degree in electronics and telecommunication from a reputed institute named Rajiv Gandhi Institute of technology which is located in Mumbai. After doing his education, he sat for multiple interviews and realized that he is not made for 9-5 jobs. So he stopped searching for regular office jobs and started accompanying his dad to film sets. 

Acting Career

After planning to start his career in acting, Vicky Kaushal went to Kishore Namit Kapoor's acting academy where he learned the art of acting. After that, he worked as an assistant director to famous director Anurag Kashyap during the notorious crime movie “Gangs of Wasseypur”. Vicky Kaushal worked really hard and understood the art of the industry well. He treats  Anurag Kashyap as his mentor and said he learned a lot from him. Vicky Kaushal started his first acting with a small role in lal pencil, where the role was not that big, but his performance was excellent. 

Filmography

In the year 2012 Vicky Kaushal made his debut as an actor in Bollywood with the film  Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana which was a romantic comedy film,  followed by a few other films. The coin of his career flipped when Vicky Kaushal acted in love per square foot. Vicky Kaushal got a lot of recognition after this film, and then he was seen in a few most popular films like Raazi, Sanju, and URI. URI made people know a lot about Vicky Kaushal. He has set his career right, and the firmness in his acting has made him get many awards like Filmfare and zee cine awards. He has shown his incredible acting skills and is a hero of the coming generation for sure.
