Jennifer Connelly shared her impressions of working with Tom Cruise on the sequel to the blockbuster Top Gun: Maverick which is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2020. She said, “He’s got skills! For sure”. The 48-year-old actor Connelly was seen holding on the 56-year-old Cruise from the back of a motorcycle as he raced down the street. It was a really fast motorcycle ride.

The scene was a repeat cult scene from the first film, in which the characters of Cruise and Connelly rush on a motorcycle. This episode was filmed in early November and, according to the actress, she really liked the professional driving skills of Tom Cruise, that caused her real admiration.

“He has the skills. I can tell you that he is a great actor and a great driver”, Jennifer quoted The Daily Mail as saying.

As the actress said, the shooting of the picture is still going on, although not so much work left for her personally. Connelly also promised the audience that its creators included a very romantic song in the soundtrack of the new picture, which will overlap with the famous song “Take My Breath Away”. This song was performed by the group Berlin sounded in the 1986 film and won two prestigious film awards at once. The track also received an Oscar and Golden Globe as the best song for the film.
