Amrita Singh is the first wife of Saif Ali Khan with two children that includes her daughter Sara and son Ibrahim. The couple was divorced in 2004. Saif married actress Kareena Kapoor in 2012. Saif Ali Khan had an acting and cricket environment in his house. His mother was an actress in the movies. Sharmila Tagore, his mother is a Bengali while his father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi is a Pathan. The birthplace of Saif Ali Khan is New Delhi. His father was given the title of Nawab of Pataudi. After the demise of Mansoor Pataudi, Saif Ali Khan was given this title and he came to be known as the tenth Nawab of Pataudi. Both father and grandfather of Saif played cricket and were a part of the Indian team. His younger sister Soha is also an actress while another sister Saba is a fashion designer. 

The childhood and early days of Saif Ali Khan were spent in the company of his father and watching him play in the outdoor area of the house. He studied in Himachal Pradesh and was a student of The Lawrence School, Sanawar. When Saif Ali Khan was 9 years old, his parents sent him to The Lockers Park School located in Hertfordshire in the UK. For higher studies, he joined Winchester College, UK. Saif Ali Khan did his graduation from a famous boarding school. After this, he quit his studies and decided to return to India. He worked for a short time in an advertising agency. People recognize him for an appearance in an ad by Gwalior Suiting. Soon after, he entered the world of cinema and became an actor.

This film earned huge revenue in the year it was released in 1999. It was during the shooting of this movie that the star cast including Salman Khan faced the charge of illegal hunting of blackbucks. 

Saif Ali Khan has played the character of a Casanova in Hindi films. He has acted in many comedy movies and people like him for his funny roles. Movies of Saif Ali Khan become very popular in urban areas and cities. His movie Omkara was based on Shakespeare’s work, Othello. The movie was shown at the Cannes festival in 2006 and the Cairo International Film Festival. In 2017, he appeared in the movie Chef, which was an adaptation of an English movie with a similar name. Saif Ali Khan debuted in Bollywood in 1993 with his first movie Parampara. Yash Chopra was the director of this movie. Aamir Khan was also a co-star in the film. However, the movie did not impress the audience much. Saif Ali Khan appeared in the film Aashiq Awara in 1993 for which Filmfare gave him the Best Male Debut Award. He received the Best Supporting Actor Award for the movie Main Khiladi Tu Anari. Saif Ali Khan got the best-supporting actor award for the movie Aarakshan in 2011. He has given many hit movies since then and continues to amaze his fans with his acting skills and roles.
