Disney has announced postponement of many movies including Black Widow & Eternals until 2021
Audiences have to wait as Disney+ confirms postponement of many movies till 2021.
The audiences have been waiting for many movies since they have put on production, but it is expected that they still have to hold back as Disney has pushed back many of the theatrical releases that includes Marvel blockbuster "Black Widow." The postponement has been due to Coronavirus pandemic. The marvel’s Black widow was expected to be released in November, 2020 but now the same has been shifted to next year on 7th May.
The other movie Eternals that includes a great cast - Angelina Jolie, Gemma Khan, Richard Madden, Kit Harrington and Salma Hayek that was another much awaited and a blockbuster movie. The movie was scheduled for a cinema release in February, but now the same has been pushed back to 5th November, 2021. The current situation states that this year will go without any Marvel story. It has been for the first time after 2009 that there will be such a long gap and the year will be missing the marvel stories. However Disney+ series WandaVision will be still be streaming at the end of the year.
The other movies that have been delayed for the release are Death on the Nile; that has been pushed to December 18, Deep Water to August 13; The Empty Man has been scheduled to October 23, while Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings has been rescheduled to July 9 of the next year.
It is expected that people will gather hopefully to the cinemas as the things get normal. The absence of the cinemas have been tried to be covered by the streaming services. However, some of the upcoming Disney+ shows like Falcon and Winter Soldier and Loki, will give feeling of MCU.
