Kangana Ranaut Hosts Screening of Directorial Debut Emergency
Kangana made her directorial debut, sharing her thoughts relevant to the movie "Emergency."

Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways, Mr. Nitin Gadkari, joined Kangana Ranaut along with the veteran actor Anupam Kher for a special screening of the upcoming movie "Emergency", which is Kangana Ranaut’s debut as a director. The screening happened in Nagpur on Saturday. After the screening, Gadkari took to social media “X” to thank the filmmakers as well as actors for highlighting a crucial & poignant chapter in the Indian history. He further encouraged everyone to watch this movie, which depicts an important era in India’s history.

For the marvelous event, Kangana dazzled in a beige saree with her hair styled elegantly in a bun, while Anupam Kher looked sharp in a blue suit. Post-screening, the trio engaged with the media, sharing their thoughts about the movie as well as its significance.
Kangana Ranaut also later on took to Instagram in order to thank Gadkari for his precious support. Sharing pictures from the screening, she also captioned them, “#emergency with @gadkari.nitin ji. Releasing on the 17th January 2025," capturing moments of their interaction during the special event.
The movie "Emergency" mainly boasts a star-studded cast including Shreyas Talpade, Ashok Chhabra, Mahima Chaudhary, Vishak Nair, Satish Kaushik, Milind Soman, Larry Newyorker, as well as Richard Klein, among others.
The movie is a collaborative effort by Zee Studios, Manikarnika Films, and Renu Pitti. Sanchit Balhara and G.V. Prakash Kumar composed the soundtracks for Emergency. Ritesh Shah mainly crafted the screenplay and dialogues. Rameshwar S. Bhagat handled the editing, while Tetsuo Nagata handled the cinematography.
