HBO Max, New Streaming services from the house of WarnerMedia launched to entertain Viewers
HBO Max yet another streaming platform with 10000 hours of premium content
During this pandemic time, people are stuck at some of the other places and spending much of their time watching videos or movies than they have ever. People now have shifted to many of the streaming platforms when they need to think both about their pocket size and having a massive collection of entertainment packages. With this there has been a “Streaming war” between many of the players. Apple TV+, Netflix, Disney+ and now there is a new player “HBO Max”.
It is the first big entertainment venture and on the launch, HBO says there is “10000 hours of premium content” that includes existing shows like Friends, The Big Bang Theory, Doom Patrol and many more.
Users are allowed to create five viewers profile on a single account that includes kids account too with extra protection. It can be accessed on most of the platforms including Android TV, Android, PlayStation 4, Samsung TV, Chromecast, iPhones, iPads, and others.
The service is available at $14.99 per month initially to the subscribers in the United States and it seems to be expensive when compared to the major and strong players in the streaming service industry. Netflix and Disney + are giving much comfortable deal when compared to HBO Max and viewers will have to decide whether it is worth to pay the subscription amount on new streaming services than the foundational one.
However, executives at WarnerMedia and its corporate parent AT&T have come with clear words that “they’re hoping to compete with players like Netflix”. About 50 million U.S. subscribers have been predicated by 2025 by the company. Also, the service is free for seven-day trial for the new subscribers on HBO Max website.
