Fingers crossed for SRK’s upcoming movie ‘Pathan’
SRK’s comeback with ‘Pathan’ - much awaited movie from a long time.
In the world of action drama movies, one more name is soon to be listed; ‘Pathan’. Viewers are eagerly waiting for the release of this movie from a long time and why shouldn’t they? After all, the movie can be a major comeback for Shahrukh Khan, the Bollywood king after zero outcome from ‘Zero’.
Shahrukh Khan himself has announced the release date of Pathan. He writes that the movie is releasing on 25th January 2022 after which viewers are holding their hearts for the big date. SRK further adds, “ I know it's too late but Pathan’s time starts now. Remember the date, 25th January 2022.
Produced by Aditya Chopra, Maxim Ajjawi and Alexander Dostal under the banner of Yashraj films and Etalon Films, the movie is directed by Siddharth Anand. Apart from SRK, the movie is starred Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.
The official teaser of the movie is out about 2 months back in which SRK’s silhouette is shown and not the actual look. The teaser starts with John Abraham standing in front of a mountain and introducing ‘Pathan’ as a patriotic character. Afterwards, Deepika Padukone continues introducing ‘Pathan’ as a nameless person whose identity is just India. Then SRK’s voiceover says that a nameless person is named by his companions and how the name Pathan arose can be seen in the movie itself.
Pathan is based on action drama theme with a dystopian platform. John Abraham will be seen as a ruthless guy working for just money. He will play a bad guy in this movie, no doubt. He will be seen to work for a Russian mafia who runs a covert gun racket in India. On the other hand, Deepika got a role of an edgy character that supports Pathan on his mission.
The movie will be released in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.
So, let’s wait for the release of Pathan and figure out whether it hits the box office or not.
