Dabangg 3 actress Saiee Manjrekar to be seen in Mahesh Babu Film ‘Major’ based on life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan

Saiee Manjrekar, daughter of actor and filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar is the face which appeared for the first time in Bollywood movies with movie Dabangg 3 opposite Salman Khan. She will be soon seen in playing a lead role in Mahesh Babu production film Major. The movie is based in the real life of NSG commando Sandeep Unnikrishnan from 26/11 Mumbai terrorist attacks (2008). In the lead role will be Adivi Sesh. 

The movie will be directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, while GMB Entertainment will be bankrolling it. The movie can be seen in both Hindi and Telugu languages. It is reported that Saiee Manjrekar will be soon joining the shoot in Hyderabad from the next month.

Talking about the movie and the role, Saiee said that for her, script is the most important thing that matters and the impact of the character. After being in the character, many emotions can be explored as an actress. So, this was the reason why she choose the script and said yes when the movie was offered to her. She also said that she is looking to work even down South and she is excited to shoot for the movie.

Sashi Kiran Tikka, director of the movie expressed that its being a challenge for them to present the authenticity and put on the imagination into reality. It’s just on the news what has been known to them and pressure is on them to show it as a feature film rather than showing it as a documentary. Sobhita Dhulipala is also playing an important role in the movie. The movie is expected to be on floor this summer 2021.
