"Shershaah" Movie based on Kargil Martyr Vikram Batra to release soon through OTT Media

Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, are you missing watching a Bollywood film on the big screen with a tub of chocolate popcorn and chilled cold drink? Thanks to our savior, Over-the-top (OTT) media services where most of the Bollywood movies are going to release. Ullu, Netflix, Amazon, Eros Now are some of the known OTT platforms. There are about 40 OTT platforms in India.

One of the upcoming blockbusters to release soon on OTT platform is "Shershaah" which war action film tracing the biography of Army Captain Vikram Batra, Param Vir Chakra Awardee. Movie directed by Vishnuvardhan, starring Sidharth Malhotra as Vikram Batra and his twin brother Vishal, which means Sidharth will be seen in a double role and female lead actress being Kiara Advani.

With the sign of changing time, skipping the theatres movie makers of "Shershaah" is negotiating with Netflix for OTT release. The movie's release date was announced as 3rd July in the current scenario it's obvious that theatre release will not be possible.

3) "Jhund" starring Amitabh Bachchan and Akash Thosar, sports film tracing the life of the founder of NGO Slum Soccer, Vijay Barse directed by Nagraj        Manjule.
 

Coming back to Shershaah, the first posters were released on the birthday of Sidharth Malhotra to gain more popularity. The movie has also been popular in newsfeed because of rumors of couple dating each other. However, both of them said they are good friends.
