Shooting Delayed For Vijay Deverakonda’s Film
Fighter Shooting Late Due To Coronavirus Crisis And Delayed Indefinitely
Vijay Deverakonda will be making an important debut in Bollywood with his movie Fighter that is being directed by filmmaker Puri Jagannadh. However, the shooting for the film seems to be delayed due to the ongoing coronavirus epidemic. There will not be any shooting for this movie for at least 4 months and even after that, there can be problems in it. The movie is made by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions so it holds an important place in the list of movies to be released in Bollywood. Ananya Panday is also playing a role in the film along with Vijay. The movie will be made in the Telugu language with a Bollywood version having Hindi dubbing.
There have been assumptions that the shooting for the movie had to be done in the slum area of Dharavi. People know this place as a slum of Mumbai. Since the entire state of Maharashtra is fighting the coronavirus disease and the cases of infected people are very high, the Dharavi area too seems to be at risk of danger. This makes it impossible to shoot any film in the location. Thus, the movie Fighter will not be filmed in the slum area until the crisis is over. Nobody can predict when the conditions will become normal like earlier and when the shooting will take place. The movie can be filmed only in the pre-decided location in Mumbai and it might take a long time for that to happen.
The transport might take time to restart after lockdown ends. The shooting might be delayed indefinitely due to this. There will not be any shooting for at least four months. It is a waste of precious time for the filmmakers, actors, and professionals involved in the production of the movie. The filmmakers and actors can't do anything about it. It is a disheartening moment for Vijay who was playing a lead role in Fighter and making an acting debut in Bollywood.
