Sonu Sood in action, Great move as he arranges Transport for Migrant workers during Lockdown
Sonu Sood's endeavours for migrant workers amidst lockdown have secured him honour from Maharashtra Governor as well as on social media.
Sonu Sood, Bollywood actor who nailed it as a villain in movies like Simmba, R… Rajkumar and Dabangg, is being hailed as a real-life hero in India.
The actor has taken the initiative to send the migrant workers stranded by the Covid-19 lockdown in Mumbai, back to their hometowns and is actively taking care of all the arrangements from transportation to food facilities at his own cost.
Sood said, it gave him sleepless nights when he came to know that millions found themselves without any source of income. Due to the pandemic state borders are sealed and modes of transportation are suspended. He was unable to digest that people are walking hundreds of kilometres to reach their hometowns.
Niti Goel, a childhood friend of the actor has also joined him for this noble cause, since the last two months both have been helping people impacted with the ill effects of lockdown.
The Bollywood actor says he feels blessed to be the almighty's tool for this rare moment because he is the one who received the opportunity to help fellow beings. Pictures of Bollywood star waving at the labourers in buses have gone viral and won hearts on the internet. Sood said he can't stop until the last migrant has reached his home, as they had precious smiles on their faces and happy tears in their eyes when they left.
