Sooryavanshi - An Upcoming Movie On Cops

Akshay Kumar starrer movie Sooryavanshi will be open for public viewing in the theatres on 27^th March in 2020. Akshay has been a powerful role of police officer Veer Sooryavanshi in the movie and he is seen as the head of an anti-terrorism team of the police as a DSP. It is an action film written by Sajid-Farhad. While Akshay plays the male lead role, the main female leading role is played by Katrina Kaif. Rohit Shetty is the director and one of the producers of the film. Apart from Rohit’s production company Rohit Shetty Picturez, the other producers are Karan Johar of Dharma Productions, Reliance Entertainment production banner, and another company named Cape of Good Films.

The shooting for the film was started in May 2019. The complete movie was filmed by November in the same year. Ajay Devgn appears in the movie in a similar role of Bajirao Singham in the movie Singham while Ranveer Singh is in a character Sangaram Bhalerao or Simmba as in his earlier movie Simmba. The roles have been repeated in Sooryavanshi and both actors are playing the role of cops. 

Katrina Kaif plays the character of Aditi Sooryavanshi and Neena Gupta is in the role of Veer Sooryavanshi’s mother. Gulshan Grover appears as Usmani in the movie. The posters of the film were released in March 2019. Himesh Reshammiya is the composer of the songs of Sooryavanshi. The Jal Rahi Hai track is sung by Sukhwinder Singh. The movie has a song Tip Tip Barsa Pani of Akshay Kumar starrer movie Mohra in a new version.

Akshay Kumar posted photos from the movie Sooryavanshi in his social media accounts. Ranveer Singh also shared the pictures of the cops from the movie on social media. Ajay Devgn was also among the first few actors to share the photos. It will be interesting to see all the three actors playing the role of police officers in the same movie and working together. The movie is arousing the excitement and anticipation of fans and the public both.
