Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, theaters are shut across the country and have hampered the release of many movies. With this many filmmakers are opting for OTT release. Ponmagal Vandhal and Penguin were among those movies that choose OTT platform for release. Recently Gulabo Sitabo was also released on Prime Video.

Now JSK Satish Kumar has announced that his three upcoming movies are also all set to release through OTT platforms. It includes Sriya Reddy Starrer Andava Kaanom, Priyanka Upendra Starrer Mummy Save Me and Arun Vijay’s Vaa Deal. Being happy with his decision of OTT release of his movies he said that the dates are yet to be confirmed and as soon as it is confirmed the details will be revealed. He also informed about that he is working on three major projects at present that belong to the Tamil film industry.

The film Penguin that stars Rangaraj and Linga in lead roles and the direction has been by Eeshwar Karthic. This has been world premiere on 19 June, 2020 via Amazon prime platform. The first poster of the movie was released last year and it was said that it is similar to that of Bollywood movie Kahaani 2.

Talking about the three movies, the first movie Andava Kaanom is about a woman called Shanti and the problem she faces when she lost her utensil named Anda. Mummy Save Me is a horror movie where the spirits haunt mother and daughter in their home. Whereas Vaa Deal is an action movie.

Looking into the present situation it is supposed that movie lovers have still to wait for theater releases as the makers are choosing the OTT platforms for their movie release, which is actually the demand of this time.
