Mysteries get cleared about Anushka-Madhavan Starrer ‘Nishabdham’

Makers of upcoming multilingual thriller Nishabdham starring Anushka Shetty and R Madhavan issued a clarification that they have no plans of releasing their film directly on any OTT platform. Furthermore, the makers have also appealed to the audiences to not believe in any rumors going around the globe about the film’s direct-to-OTT release.

Following message has been shared from People Media Factory, the makers of the film, "Please do not believe in any baseless rumors you come across. From the day one of shoot till date, our star and technicians have been pillars of support to us through good & bad times, especially Anushka Shetty garu. Please do not believe in any baseless rumors you come across. If there is any major development, we will announce it officially." Kona Venkat, the producer of the film has also revealed through his tweet that theatrical release is their top priority, in case the lockdown delays the film release, they will consider releasing the film on OTT platforms.

The film directed by Hemant Madhukar, has been shot in Seattle, USA. The name of the film "Nishabdham" is the Hindi word for "silence". The story revolves around the murder of a key character and the subsequent investigation to find the killer, where Anushka playing Sakshi is a deaf and mute artist. Madhavan, Sakshi's husband named 'Anthony' is a celebrity musician.

Pair of Anushka and Madhavan will be seen together for the second time on the big screen after their Tamil action-comedy flick "Rendu" in 2006.

Nishabdham, the thriller movie will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi and English this year. Hemant Madhukar directed also stars Anjali, Shalini Pandey and Hollywood actor Michael Madsen in crucial roles.
