Excitement doubles as Priyanka Chopra's 'The White Tiger' nominated for Oscar

Desi Girl Priyanka Chopra is on cloud nine as her movie 'The White Tiger' has been included in the nomination for Oscar awards. She took her social media account to announce that the movie has been nominated in the category of Best Adapted Screenplay at the 93rd Academy Awards. The celebration gets double as she with her husband Nick Jonas will be announcing the nominations for the Oscars.

Mrs Jonas received many wishes and congratulation messages for the same, but it was odd when an Australian Journalist raised question on her qualification to announce the nomination. The actress gave back very nicely to the journalist who pointed on her eligibility. She wrote that she love the thoughts and shared her strong filmography in India and Hollywood. The journalist wrote that he has no disrespect towards the two but he doubt both contribution to movies make them eligible to announce the Oscars nominations. After a reply from Priyanka, the journalist went to private.  

'The White Tiger' is both produced and she has acted in the movie. Writer and director Ramin Bahrani, has done the screenplay of the film. The co-stars of the movie are Adarsh Gourav and Rajkummar Rao. Even Gourav has received a BAFTA nomination for his outstanding performance in the movie. Both the actors celebrated and expressed their happiness by sharing the news on their social media account. The lead actor Adarsh Gourav is receiving a lot of appreciation for his performance and people look a bright and future star in him.

Priyanka later shared some of funny pictures with her husband Nick after the announcement of nominations. She also thanked the Academy for giving this opportunity. The further projects in which she is working are Citadel and Matrix 4.
