Updates related to Uttar Pradesh film city plan in Noida
It may reduce the chance to go to Mumbai for the acting career.
In the year 2020, the UP government launched its project of the establishment of a Film City in Noida.
The film shooting could begin there by the end of 2022 for that UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also instructed the personnel that the work must complete within the time limit.
After CM announced the project, the government located 1,000-acre land near the upcoming Jewar airport, under the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority.
Talking about the film institute the government spokesperson said that in the various aspects of film and TV production proper training will be provided such as directing, production, choreography, editing, screenplay writing and sound recording. Artist will also be able to learn the nuances of acting here. This Institute will be going to be set on a 40-acre land on the same premises.
Sharing the agenda behind this proposal the spokesperson also added that at least 80% of technicians and workforce in the Mumbai film industry is in reality UP based. If the industry established in UP itself, the availability of manpower will never be a problem and it will increase employment opportunities for the people. Through this Bhojpuri films also get a promotion which will bring revenue for the state and open UP for tourism.
For now, work has started as the government has assigned CBRE, a global commercial real estate services company, for the consultation. Further action will be taken after CBRE submitted the detailed project report to the government. According to the sources, the film city plan contains various things such as production studios, outdoor locations, post-production facilities, data centre along with pre-production and post-production infrastructure, processing labs, VFX and digital technology is also proposed.
For making all these spaces the area is going to divide into five zones such as that will consist of entrance and office, shooting area and residential, theme park and outdoor location, university and studio rooms, and airport.
If this plan goes well, it will fruitful for the UP people.
