Taking part in Green India Challenge Samantha planted tree saplings with her father-in-law Nagarjuna

The next actress to take part in the Green India Challenge is Samantha Akkineni. Recently she took part in the challenge along with her father-in-law Nagarjuna and was seen planting three saplings at her home in Hyderabad. She took her social media account to share the pictures and videos of the same. In the pictures and video Nagarjuna was helping her to plant those saplings. She was wearing white kurta that was paired with blue jeans while Nagarjuna was in black tees.

The motive behind green India challenge is to create awareness among the people about green India and encourage them to plant more trees. It required nominating three people to plant three saplings and continue the chain to make the country greener. She was nominated by Nagarjuna Akkineni and further, she nominated three other people including Keerthy Suresh, Rashmika Mandanna and Shilpa Reddy to continue the chain.

Keeping herself busy during this lockdown period, she is engaged in several activities like learning cooking, doing aerial yoga and terrace gardening. She keeps on sharing pictures of her activities and connecting with her fans through this. She continues to motivate her fans by her workout videos and pictures.

Taking note on her work side, she was last seen in Telugu remake Jaanu, which released at the beginning of this year. She will be also seen for the first time in digital platform in The Family Man 2 with actor Manoj Bajpayee. Her next film is Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal with Vijay Sethupathu and Nayanthara.  

Recently, Baahubali actor Prabhas was also seen planting saplings with J Santosh Kumar, Rajya Sabha member. The actor took the challenge and shared his pictures on social media.
