Introduction 

Keerthy Suresh is an Indian Actress working in the south film industry. She works in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam films. She has also won many awards for her outstanding performance in many south films which includes the National Film award, Filmfare Award (south), and Zee Cine Awards (Telugu). She is the daughter of G. Suresh Kumar, a Malayali film producer, and Menaka G. Suresh. Her mother is a Malayalam superstar of the 80s era. Keerthy Suresh got her first role in Malayalam film Geethaanjali in the year 2013. She got recognition with some of the best films such as Ring Master, Idhu Enna Maayam, Remo, Bairavaa, Nenu Local, Thaana Serndha Kootam, Mahanati, Sarkar, and Sarkaru Vaari Paata. 

Early life

Keerthy Suresh was born in Madras to a family which is very familiar with the film industry. Her father Suresh Kumar is a well-known name in the south film industry. He is a filmmaker in the Malayali language. While her mother Menaka is a famous Tamil actress. Her sister name is Revathy Suresh. Keerthy completed her early education in Chennai and then from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram. She also has an interest in fashion designing so, she pursued a fashion designing course from Pearl Academy. Apart from her acting career she once also revealed that she has a deep interest in making fashion design as her career.

Acting career

Being the daughter of a filmmaker, Keerthy Suresh got the chance to work in many films as a child artist in her early stage itself. Some of the films in which she worked as a child artist are Pilots (2000), Achaneyanenikkishtam (2001), and Kuberan (2002). Her debut film was Geethaanjali, in which she was seen in a double role. She was simultaneously studying and shooting for the said film. The film received an average response. The next film was Ring Master with co-actor Dileep. The film turned out to be a successful one and was the first hit film for the actress. Apart from Malayalam films she also signed some Tamil films also. She signed a romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam where she shared the screen with Vikram Prabhu. She completed two of the films in the concise period called Rajini Murugan and Remo.

Keerthy Suresh made her debut in the Telugu film industry with the film Nenu Sailaja opposite actor Ram Pothineni. She was also seen in the film Bairavaa in which her co-actor was Vijay. In the year she signed two films called Paambhu Sattai which was in Tamil language and Nenu Local which was a Telugu film. 

In the year 2018, Keerthy Suresh's first film was Agnyaathavaasi which was a Telugu film. The other film was a Tamil film Thaana Serndha Kootam where Suriya was the other actor in the film. The film received a good response from the audience and was commercially successful.

She also got a chance to do a biographical drama film made upon late southern actress Savitri named Mahanati. She played the role of the actress and the audience was impressed by her outstanding performance in the film. She also received National Film Award for Best Actress.

In the year 2018, she appeared in three commercial films, Saamy Square, Sandakozhi 2, and Sarkar. She also appeared in Manmadhudu 2. During the COVID period, her film Penguin was released on Amazon Prime. She also did another drama film called Miss India during that period. Keerthy Suresh 2021 films include Rang De, Annaathe and Malayalam film Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham.
