From the rising of covid, all the film production house taking the route of online streaming service for the releasing of their film. But the chief and creative officer of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige is different and stick to his decision of releasing the film on theatre rather than Disney+.
On asking, why he does not want to go for online service he said to Variety that, "It’s impossible [not to be, when you] go to opening night to 23 movies, in packed movie houses, and seeing the moviegoers’ reaction.”
He also added that theatre experience and what will be the public reaction is motivated him like in the movies such as Avengers: Endgame and Far From Home.
“There’s nothing better than that,” and he doesn’t want to lose it. With the hope that they also don't need to have lost it.
"If there is nowhere else to put those movies,” then they may think about online services but “that’s another conversation," he also added.
Also, overseas in countries where the pandemic is more under control. Like china, is good to go for theatre release. It’s human nature to want to get together and have an experience. That’s continuing in very big ways in countries where they are able." he concluded.
Form his detail note one can see that Kevin does not want to ruin the theatre experience of his loyal fans and give them the same pleasure they had from the earlier films.
However, the studios' series such as WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier also has uploaded on Disney+, the studios still want film such as Black Widow will release on theatre on 7th May.
