Finally Tenet got an Indian release and marked a great opening post-lockdown
Much awaited Christopher Nolan’s Tenet receives a huge response on Day 1; Earns 2 Cr.
It has been almost three months from the original release date of much-awaited thriller movie of Christopher Nolan’s Tenet and now it has found its way in India with its release. The movie was a big-budget movie starring Robert Pattinson, John David Washington and Dimple Kapadia. The movie had a great start in India and it collected around 1.1 to 1.2 Crores on the very first day all over India.
The movie has been the greatest collector over the box office than any other movie since theaters have been reopened after being shut down for so long time post Coronavirus pandemic. The movie was released over 750 screens all over India. In the present situation also the movie has marked a good response from the audience as they have come up to see the movie.
The movie was best seen in IMAX version. Mumbai and southern India enjoyed in the 2D version while the other part didn’t had response as expected and had an average collection. It was said that the first-day collection turned so huge was that it had a great booking and people stepped out to watch it even after such threat of COVID-19.
The film was premiered on August 26 in the UK and on September 3 in US. It movie received a good review by the critics. The movie is a spy action thriller where a mission is taken with two secret agents. Since the movie deserves to be a big screen watch, the audiences are in no way turning up to watch it over the theatre. It is expected that it will do well in the upcoming weeks also.
