BookMyShow is now no more only a ticketing site but also a TVOD Platform
BookMyShow stream is a service named for Transaction video on demand which will offer more content to the audience.
BookMyShow which was prior only a ticket booking site has launched a brand new service on Friday for their loyal customers and also to wider their scale.
This new service is called BookMyShow stream, which is a mode of transactional video on demand (TVOD). In the TVOD mode, users only have to pay the rent or buy amount for the movie they want to watch.
Today in the streaming sector Transactional Video on Demand service offered only by Google, Apple, Shemaroo and Zee on other side Subscription Video on Demand assistance offered by many streamers such as like Disney Plus Hotstar, SonyLiv Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, ALTBalaji, etc.
In TVOD a user does not need to buy the whole package for a month or annual like in SVOD.
According to BookMyShow catalogue, they will offer:

- 2. 72,000 hours of content
- 3. 22,000 hours of content being exclusive to the platform at launch
- 4. HD quality
- 5. Films are still playing in the cinemas.
A user can buy or rent the content with download, offline other facilities. Not only this, every Friday they will do marquee premiere with other facilities such as Friday Premieres, Exclusives.
BookMyShow Stream will show award-winning films of not only India but all over the world as it has collaborated for the international movie with Sony Pictures, Warner Brothers, and Universal Pictures and for Indian content Viacom18, Shemaroo etc.
According to sources, the price can be changed for recently released, for rent or buy, such as Wonder Woman 1984 costs INR 799 to buy, or INR 499 to rent. A movie can be stream around the month but it will have two days to watch it once played.
It is also possible that the title will expand to 2,000 over the next year and 40% of the content is exclusive to the platform.
BookMyShow Stream can be operated through BookMyShow's mobile app, official website, Android TV, Fire Stick, and Chromecast etc.
